2023 CWL Scholarship Winner

CWL Airdrie was proud and honored to give Saint Paul’s CWL Scholarship of $1200. to our successful student  Gabrielle Saraceni.

Gabrielle is an honour student, who has been helping our church as an Altar Server, serving  on Decorating Committee and has been and continues to be an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion here at Saint Paul’s as well as having other community Volunteer experiences. -  Gabrielle  graduated with a Health Science degree from Mount Royal University and is a student at Saint Mary’s University Calgary. She plans to be a future faithful and eager Catholic teacher from  Saint Paul’s Airdrie.

CWL Scholarship Information

St. Paul’s CWL Scholarship is open to all grade 12 graduates, women or men, who have been accepted into any post-secondary institution. If you attend a public high school or are home-schooled you may apply.  You still qualify if you take a year or two off to work or travel after completing high school before continuing with your education.

This is not an academic scholarship. The most important criteria is evidence of practising your faith in your everyday life. Being a member of St. Paul’s Parish community is essential.

Scholarship brochures are distributed to St. Martin de Porres High School in the spring. They are also available in the foyer of St. Paul’s Church on the CWL display table.

Scholarship Value:  $1200
